Embark on a captivating 3-day hiking adventure through the stunning Sierra de las Nieves, where you'll explore the enchanting white villages of Andalusia.

Your journey begins in Yunquera, where you’ll park your car and receive a packed lunch to fuel your first hike. If you don’t have a car, we can give you instructions on how to get there with public transport, you can take an Uber or book our door-to-door transfer.

On Day 1, you’ll trek 13 km (approximately 4 hours) through beautiful landscapes to the charming village of Tolox, where you’ll spend the night in a delightful 3-star mountain hotel above the town, enjoying the serene surroundings.

Day 2 presents the longest hike of your journey as you make your way from Tolox to Guaro. Covering about 16 km (5-6 hours), this trek offers breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in nature. You’ll have another packed lunch to keep you energised for the day ahead.

Upon arrival in Guaro, you’ll stay at a cozy bed-and-breakfast located just outside the village, and later enjoy dinner in the local, sleepy village of Guaro.

On your final day, after a hearty breakfast at the B&B, you’ll embark on a scenic 7 km hike (3.5 hours) through the mountains to Monda. This walk allows you to soak in the last of Andalusia's stunning landscapes before we pick you up and return you to your car in Yunquera. Or, if you prefer, you can continue your journey independently using public transport, an Uber, or our convenient door-to-door drop-off service.

Day 1: Yunquera to Tolox

  • Start: Park your car in Yunquera or arrive by public transport or a transfer

  • Hike: 13 km (approximately 4-5 hours)

  • The hike is in beautiful mountain scenery and the terrain goes up and down.

  • Most of the hike is on wide gravel or rocky paths and is easy to walk on.

  • When you reach the town of Tolox (after 9km), you can stop at one of the local tapas bars. Your hotel is 4km above the village.

  • Elevation gain: 357m / Elevation loss: 757m

  • Destination: Tolox

  • Accommodation: 3-star mountain hotel

  • Meals: Packed lunch provided and dinner at hotel

Day 2: Tolox to Guaro

  • Hike: 15 km (5-6 hours)

  • Longest day of the trip

  • The hike is in beautiful mountain scenery and the terrain goes up and down.

  • Destination: Small B&B 1 km outside Guaro

  • Transfer: Pick-up and return to your car in Yunquera
